Being one with nature and soaking in geological marvels as the history of the Earth unfurls before your eyes, you can do that at Nova Scotia&rsquos Cliffs of Fundy. 

The Cliffs by the Fundy Bay are a proof of how the supercontinent Pangea came into being nearly 300 million years ago and how it drifted away to give the present continents their shape and form, almost 100 million years later. It has now been declared as a UNESCO Global Geopark.

The Bay of Fundy, located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, is continuously shaped even today by forces of nature and some of the highest tides on Earth. Time has played a pivotal role in shaping the characteristics of the site. Spread across a roughly 165-kilometre drive, it is also home to a number of native, and exquisite, flora and fauna. Early vertebrates to sea lions and even fossils dating back to 310 million years can be found here.

You can listen to fascinating Mi&rsquokmaw legends, and check out the oldest dinosaur fossils in Canada. Visitors can take a tour on boats, and visit the Fundy Discovery Centre, and walk the numerous nature trails like Thomas&rsquos Cove Coastal Trail, Five Islands, or the Wads Falls Trail. They can also check out the Ships Company Theatre and visit the Debert Flight Centre.
