British Airways Resumes Operations to 17 Destinations

Several flexible booking options are being offered for fliers

In a welcome move for British holidaymakers, British Airways has announced that it is resuming flights to 17 destinations in August. Due to Covid-19, the airline will follow continued low frequencies on the routes.

The list of new destinations include&nbspfavourites such as France, Italy, and Turkey. Britons were left in the lurch after the UK had removed much-favoured destinations like Spain, the Canary Islands and the Balearics from the &ldquoair bridge&rdquo list.

Other destinations on the list include Paphos, Bodrum, Pula, Islamabad, Nairobi, Frankfurt, Bari, Antigua, Catania, Bastia, Nairobi, Figari, Kefalonia, Malta, Luxemborg, Genoa and Lyon .

The airlines is offering flexible booking options such as the ability to change a booking without any additional cost, or cancelling a booking and receiving a voucher for travelling at a later time. 

The airline is maintaining safe hygiene protocols through the cleaning of all key surfaces such as seat buckles, tray tables, seats and screens after each flight.&nbspAll the aircrafts are cleaned from nose to tail. In every British Airways flight, the air is fully recycled once every three to four minutes through the usage of HEPA filters which have a efficiency rate of 99.9 % to remove virus clusters and microscopic bacteria.

&nbspMeanwhile, British Airways has taken out its all business class service between London City airport and New York JFK. The daily route launched in September 2009 and shortly after it was increased to twice daily,
