Dua Lipa is an acclaimed English-Albanian singer-songwriter with a disco influence. She has won six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, and two Guinness World Records. Recently, she vacationed in India and put it on her Instagram that took fans in a mesmerising whirlwind.
In her post that was captioned “Happy holidays from me to you…sending love light health and happiness for the year ahead x,” Lipa is seen standing in the backdrop of traditional Rajasthani arches and an Indian skyline. The post has been reshared voraciously.
The singer stayed at Jodhpur in Rajasthan at a five star hotel. She uploaded a picture of her waking up in a room with an colourful backdrop, showcasing a wall painted with the deities Radha and Krishna in bright colours.
Later, Lipa was seen in Delhi's Humayun's Tomb. Here, she is seen standing in front of Isa Khan's tomb, nestled within the complex.
In another one of her posts from Rajasthan, Dua Lipa is seen exploring the site of the grand Umaid Bhawan, Jodhpur. The palace is a majestic Indo-Saracenic affair from the 20th century and features collection of paintings, photographs, and first-edition cars. It also offers a collection of vintage cars, including some rare and luxurious models.
In another picture, she also visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, prominent for its connection to the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan.
While fans have only so many pitures of Lipa in India, another post on her social media tells us about her love for culture and travelling. In this picture, she is seen in Tokyo wearing a traditional kimono. The place is famous for many heritage landmarks like the Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower, manga, and botanical parks, among others.
