Dal Lake, often referred to as the "jewel in the crown of Kashmir," is a must-visit for any traveller. Like Diljit Dosanjh, enjoy a shikhara ride and relish a warm cup of kehwa, a traditional Kashmiri saffron-infused tea.
Next on Diljit Dosanjh's list was the gorgeous Khanqah-e-Moula, also known as Shah Hamdan Mosque, a revered shrine situated on the banks of the Jhelum River and built-in 1395 in honour of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamdani.
Diljit Dosanjh also visited Chatti Padshahi Gurudwara, located near the historic Hari Parbat Fort. It is an important Sikh religious site in Srinagar, established in honor of the 6th Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib, during his visit to Kashmir in the 17th century.
Diljit Dosanjh also took time to visit a popular local café, Chai Jaai. Located in the old city, Chai Jaai is a charming tea room that seamlessly blends Kashmiri traditions with modern aesthetics.
He also indulged in local shopping at Lal Chowk. It is the perfect place to shop for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, and other souvenirs. Bustling with activity, it offers a glimpse into Srinagar's everyday life.
