Home Away From Home

The property located on the airport highway is a humble escape within the city limits

A slight left to get off the national highway, a U-turn 100mts away and a narrow dusty road lead us to Four Points by Sheraton one afternoon. A humble looking facade and the afternoon check out rush soon paved the way for a wide lobby flanked by work stations on either side. We found ourselves at the hotel one weekend to escape from the city madness while being in the city. After a seamless, swift check-in we were shown to our room, overlooking the pool. And here is all that we found out

Rooms

While the lobby was spread over a vast area, the rooms are on the cosier side, long following the minimalist approach. Along with all amenities in place, the rooms also spot a dedicated work station and separate sitting area for a leisurely Sunday read. Although the rooms might be a little rustic for some, they definitely come with their own charm, since the property conveniently lies within the city limits but far away from its conundrum. The rooms at the property are well suited for business travellers or for those looking for easy staycation options, but most of all for wedding travellers. All 70 rooms at the property are on the ground level, saving travellers the hassle of to and fro between floors. One can choose from the three different categories of rooms available here, namely, comfort, premier and the suite. However, as per our knowledge the portfolio for rooms is set to expand soon along with some other changes in the pipeline.

Culinary Offerings
The property houses the Eatery, which is their 24 hour restaurant and a delightful surprise. Over the course of two days, our taste buds were treated to Asian, Indian, continental and Italian fare. Right from street side delicacies to fine dining options, Chef Naresh Kharbanda&rsquos efforts evidently hit the right notes. The Asian fare, a personal favourite, was the highlight of the restaurant and a refreshing change. Apart from that one should also not miss out on their Sunday brunch &mdash after a quick dip in the pool of course &mdash which is largely Indian with an array of appetisers. We also give the super friendly staff extra brownie points here.

Additional Amenities

In addition to the room portfolio, the hotel houses six lawns that can accommodate anywhere between 70 to 1200 guests, depending upon the setup. There is also a board room present for meetings and smaller conventions. The hotel also, personally, stood out for the ample open spaces it houses, right from the lobby to the restaurant and the pool area. The hotel also comes with an ample parking space for the guests.

Things to do
While here one can simply soak in the lush landscape or find a quiet reading corner. But for those looking to energise themselves the multi-functional pool within the property premises is a promising escape.
