Day 1


Upon arrival in Belur, start your day with a traditional South Indian breakfast at a place like Vishnu Regency. Then, explore the magnificent 12th-century Chennakeshava Temple, known for its intricate carvings depicting Hindu mythology.

For lunch, head out to a place like Mallikarjuna Darshini. Afterwards, explore Hoysala architecture at the nearby Halebidu temples, such as Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara. Finish your afternoon at the Belur Archaeological Museum to see artefacts from the Hoysala period.

Day 2


Start your second day with a South Indian breakfast, and then take a trip to Shravanabelagola, home to the towering statue of Gommateshwara, one of the largest monolithic statues in the world. Climbing the 600 steps to reach the statue offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
