Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar undertook a 30-kilometre trek over two days, beginning at Chaumasi and passing through remote Himalayan trails to reach the Kedarnath shrine on foot.
On the second day, they completed a demanding 17-hour climb through snow-covered, high-altitude terrain, driven by a mix of physical endurance and spiritual motivation to reach their destination.
They reached Kedarnath at 1 am, with Milind sharing how the excitement of arriving at the sacred shrine overpowered the exhaustion of the steep and icy journey.
The couple shared glimpses of their expedition on Instagram, including videos of the snowy ascent and moments of reflection, showcasing the natural beauty and difficulty of the route.
Milind referred to the experience as a “beautiful journey,” noting how the trek combined physical challenge with inner peace and a deeper spiritual connection to the Himalayas.
Recently awarded the title of “Fittest Jodi of the Year,” the couple’s trek added to their image as fitness icons who embrace both adventure and wellness together.
With a 26-year age gap, Milind and Ankita continue to break stereotypes. Married since 2018, they have shared numerous adventures, inspiring followers with their shared love of fitness and travel.
Their path included the scenic Kham Bugyal, a high-altitude meadow offering breathtaking views of the Garhwal Himalayas, before crossing the snow-laden Hathni Col towards Kedarnath.
The trek highlighted how disciplined training and an active lifestyle can enhance even the most spiritually significant journeys, bringing together physical strength and devotion.
